Fred Alex Ottman, who played Tugboat in the WWF, was another great character in entertainment wrestling who often played the ally of Hulk Hogan. Unfortunately, his mask was removed during one ring match, leading him to break character midstream.

This was of course a no-no in entertainment wrestling where everyone wasn’t supposed to break character, and this boo-boo, to some degree, did in fact hurt his career as a wrestler, earning him the distinction of having the worst wrestling debut. Now retired from wrestling, Ottman now works a regular job, as a safety manager for a building cleaning services company in Florida.
