Rip Rogers, or Mark Sciarra in real life, had a pretty successful career as a professional wrestler back in the days. Right before he entered the professional wrestling scenes, he used to work as a teacher for almost a year and that was after he earned his college degree at Indiana Central College in the mid-’70s.

He was one of the leading personalities in independent promotions around the country and his name became well-known in corners of the wrestling world. After retiring from professional wrestling, he was offered the head trainer job for Ohio Valley Wrestling, and even to this date, his name still carries a significant deal around the industry.
