JOHN NORD—$1 MILLION

John Nord, who played more than a few characters in and around various wrestling circuits, including Nord the Barbarian and Yukon John, is another retired wrestler who many fans today might not have heard of. He was, to his credit, trained by Eddie Sharkey, who was considered the “trainer of champions” because he trained many of the biggest names in the sport.

After retiring from the world of entertainment wrestling, Nord chose a quiet and simple life, working at his brother’s auto dealership. Unfortunately, not too many people know John Nord, but he was one of the sport’s best journeymen.
