TREVOR GODDARD – DRUG OVERDOSE

English actor Trevor Goddard, who some might remember for his role as Kano in the fantasy martial arts film Mortal Kombat, was found dead in his home in 2003. Initial reports suspected Goddard committed suicide because of depression stemming from his recent divorce, but his death was eventually ruled accidental due to a drug overdose. It was determined that the actor had, to a huge degree, been battling addiction for a long time.

His death was a tragedy, given it was the same year Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl was released, which was the film where he landed his biggest role.
