GUILLAUME DEPARDIEU – PNEUMONIA

French actor Guillaume Depardieu, who’s the son of both Gérard and Élisabeth Depardieu (both French actors), died of severe viral pneumonia in October of 2008. He was 37 years old then. Depardieu’s health had apparently already been compromised by his long-term drug use, and this made him particularly vulnerable when he contracted pneumonia. Depardieu was also said to have had a fraught relationship with his more famous father, not least because of his prodigal past, which included jail time for theft, drugs, and dealing.

To some degree, the young Depardieu was able to extricate himself from his violent past, but it, unfortunately, caught up with him in terms of his health.
