MALCOLM MCLAREN – PERITONEAL MESOTHELIOMA

Impresario, artist, musician, fashion designer and entrepreneur, Malcolm McLaren, who many will know as both the manager and promoter of the hard rock bands New York Dolls and the Sex Pistols and who many considered as the man who invented Punk, died on 2010 after a long battle with cancer. His spokesman revealed that McLaren had been battling cancer for a long while but chose to keep it from the public.

To some degree, the Sex Pistols owe their fame and fortunes to McLaren, who brought them together, formed the band, and made each one—including himself—a household name.
