LYNNE THIGPEN – CEREBRAL HEMORRHAGE

Prominent African-American actress and voice actress Lynne Thigpen, who many will know as the voice of Luna in the children’s series Bear in The Big Blue House, died of an Intracerebral hemorrhage in March of 2003. She was 54 years old then. Apparently, she was having headaches in the days prior to her death, which her friends and family didn’t expect was serious since she was often in good health. Her credits include various roles (and voice roles) for television, films, and computer game franchises.

Indeed, friends of Thigpen shared that although she was a workaholic, she was as healthy as can be, which made the news of her death immensely surprising.
