WENDIE JO SPERBER – BREAST CANCER

American actress Wendie Jo Sperber, whose film credits include I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Back to the Future, and Bosom Buddies, died at her home in November of 2005, following an eight-year battle with breast cancer. She reportedly approached her cancer head-on and was hopeful until the end that she could turn it around. Unfortunately, the actress who founded the weSPARK Cancer Support Center of Sherman Oaks in 2001 succumbed to the disease.

Many of her friends and relatives have shared that Sperber remained full of love and joy throughout her painful ordeal.
