BILL PAXTON – COMPLICATIONS FROM HEART SURGERY

Emmy-nominated actor and director Bill Paxton, whose film credits include Aliens, Twister, and Apollo 13, died in 2017 following complications from heart surgery. Apparently, Paxton had a damaged heart valve since he was a kid and decidedly underwent heart surgery at the age of 61 to have it repaired. Unfortunately, eleven days after his surgery, he had a stroke. The last film he was involved with, The Circle, was released posthumously.

Although Paxton never really reached the A-lister heights during his career, he did have an extraordinary body of work which will ensure that he will be sorely missed in the industry.
