RICHARD GRIFFITHS – COMPLICATIONS FROM HEART SURGERY

Multi-award-winning actor Richard Griffiths, who is best known for portraying Vernon Dursley, the muggle stepfather of Harry Potter in the Harry Potter film series, died at the age of 65 following complications of heart surgery. Many will have already seen some of Griffiths’s performances on screen, but he was first and foremost, an acclaimed stage actor, who enjoyed a long and storied career as such.

Indeed, Griffiths is, to a huge degree, one of the most loved and critically-acclaimed actors of British descent, and his many awards for stage and film are a testament to this.
