MICHAEL NYQVIST – LUNG CANCER

The actor was one of Sweden’s finest, but international audiences were first introduced to his talent through the Martin Beck television series, where he portrayed Banck. He gained further international success after starring in the original The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movies, alongside Noomi Rapace. The film marked his Hollywood debut and was followed by other major roles in big productions such as Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and John Wick. He has been given credit by audiences and critics for being one of this generation’s greatest film villains.

Sadly, Michael passed away in 2017 after losing his battle with lung cancer.
