THUY TRANG – CAR ACCIDENT

For many of us, the Power Rangers was a big part of our childhood. We idolized them and had our own favorites! Thuy Trang portrayed the Yellow Ranger, Trini Kwan, on the show. Before finding success in TV, however, she had to overcome becoming a refugee as a child. She was also separated from her father for years, only reuniting after they moved to the US. Credits to their hard work, the family was able to live comfortably.

Sadly, Thuy’s career was short-lived. She passed away in a car accident back in 2001. Her last role was a Kali on The Crow: City of Angels.
