Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes had one of the most high-profile relationships in Hollywood. And, interestingly enough, Katie revealed in an interview that she had a crush on the Hollywood superstar ever since she was a child. Indeed, Holmes said for one interview—and this was a year before she met the man—that she always dreamed of marrying Tom Cruise. The next year, Holmes gets to meet Tom cruise and they start dating a few months later.

This was also the year that Cruise does some performative nonsense on Oprah’s show. He also revealed that he was so in love with Katie. They get married in 2006 and get divorced in 2012. The reason? Well, an attorney for the couple claims it was for their daughter’s best interest. We may never know the real reason why they finally decide to split but what we can see that age difference is clearly not the problem.
