Candice Bergen and Marshall Rose

A porch complete with comfortable cushions is as cozy as it gets. In their house in East Hampton in New York, Candice Bergen and Marshall Rose have a little sitting area in the backyard that looks out to the outdoors but has roofing to cover them from the shade. The site has a complete living room with a full-sized couch, matching loveseats, and a coffee table in the middle to hold their refreshments.

It’s just the perfect place to read in during the afternoon and also a comfortable place to receive guests. Even their dog has a great time staying outside and not leaving its pillows! The space was designed by Jane Lappin and Arlene Gould, and the landscaping was by Edmund Hollander. Of course, it is not surprising that it took a whole team to create this masterpiece!
