ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER – EST. $1.2 BILLION

British composer and impresario Andrew Lloyd Webber, whose musicals have reportedly been running for decades on Broadway and was described by Time Magazine as “the most commercially successful composer in history,” is estimated to have a net worth of $1.2 billion. Indeed, Webber’s biggest musical hit, The Phantom of the Opera, has reportedly made $6 billion worldwide, and that’s not even counting Webber’s other musical hits, such as Cats, Sunset Boulevard, and School of Rock.

The man is, to a huge degree, an icon of broadway and his songs will remain famous for a long, long time. He has won five Lawrence Oliver Awards in Britain, six Tony Awards in America, and three Grammys, one of which was for “Best Contemporary Classical Composition” for his Latin Requiem. Two recent Tony awards were for “Best Composer” and “Best Musical” for Sunset Boulevard.
