South African-American actress and producer Charlize Theron, who was included in Time Magazine’s list of 100 Most Influential People of 2016 and was ranked one of the highest-paid actresses in 2019, is reportedly worth an estimated $130 million. Many will probably have forgotten that her first role was in the critically-panned horror film, Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest.

It was, to a huge degree, in the film Monster, where she played serial killer Aileen Wuornos that Theron would get widespread acclaim and establish herself as one of the most bankable leading ladies in Hollywood.
