Joel Osteen is a famed preacher, televangelist, and author in the United States. However, he is mostly known as a pastor of the Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. As an author, he has written several best-selling books, like the 2004 Your Best Life Now, which is a “positive-thinking book” that made it to the top of the New York Times Best Seller.

It was then followed by A Better You in 2005, which sold 4 million copies and earned Osteen $13 million worth of advances and royalties. In total, he has written 15 books. Apart from book sales, Osteen also earns a great degree of money from radio shows, public speaking, and church collection, which generated about $70 million a year in total revenue.
