Mike Tyson | Gold Bathtub

A lot of celebrities have more money in their bank account than they know what to do with. In the case of famous athlete Mike Tyson, he may have earned so much over the years but he has also run into money management issues in the past that made him lose a lot of his assets. One good example was when he purchased a bathtub made of 24-karat gold for $2.3 million back in 2004.

Not only was it an outrageously unnecessary item, but he also bought it during the time he was nearing bankruptcy. It was a gift, though, so maybe it could be a little bit forgivable to the rest of us. He got it for his then-wife, Robin Givens. Unfortunately, the two broke up after some time and we’re guessing she took the golden bathtub with her.
