Stephen Colbert | Bilbo Baggins Sword

Stephen Colbert is a successful comedian, writer, and talk show host who is best known for his credit role as the host of The Daily Show sketch called The Colbert Report. However, he also made a name for himself when he began hosting The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in 2015.  Moreover, as a writer on The Daily Show, he garnered numerous accolades, which include three Emmys Awards. He is widely regarded for his intelligent remarks and biting wit.

If you’re a true fan of Colbert, however, you’ll know that he’s also a massive nerd. He is known to be a huge fan of J.R.R Tolkien’s masterpiece novel The Lord of the Rings. He is so in love with the novel and the films that Peter Jackson, who is the director behind the Lord of the Rings films, gave him the sword of Bilbo Baggins. The name of the sword is “Sting”, and it has been in Colbert’s possession until now.
