JONATHAN BRANDIS – SUICIDE
Jonathan was one of the biggest teen idols back in the ‘80s and ‘90s. He made his debut on the soap opera One Life to Live, where he portrayed Kevin Buchanan. This led to notable roles in various film productions including The Neverending Story II: The Next Chapter in which he played the main character Bastian Bux. Jonathan didn’t limit himself to just acting, however. He also wrote screenplays and even directed independent films, for which he received credit for.
Unfortunately, he passed away in 2003 due to suicide. Friends of the actor have spoken about his battle with depression because of his declining career.
