Cosby began his career as a bartender in clubs where he earned big tips for making people laugh. He then shifted his focus on the stage as a comedian. His brainchild, The Cosby Show, launched him as a multi-million earner. In the show, he earned $4 million per episode which is about $8 million today. He has won Emmy awards three times in the American television performing arts. Now the 83-year old, award-winning comedian sits on his $400 million net worth.
In 2004, Cosby wrote, “Fat Abbott” which is an adaptation of the popular 1970s cartoon series “Fat Abbott and Cosby’s Children.”Over the years, Many Hollywood studios have wanted to collaborate with Cosby on Abbott films, but Cosby decide to bring Abbott’s story to the public after producer John Davis and Twentieth Century Fox had a pleasant talk with him. Davis, the film’s producer, said: “Cosby is Abbott. He had a great soul and a big heart, and he was the best spokesperson for Abbott.”
