Celine Dion is a Canadian singer, songwriter, occasional actress, and all-around successful entrepreneur. At age of five, she made her debut for a local contest of traditional French ballads. Her mother wrote a song called Ce N’etait Qu’un Reve for Dion and sent a demo to Rene Angelil. Rene was amazed and arranged to record the album soon.

Celine Dion is one of the most commercially successful musical artists of all time, and who is, to her credit, widely regarded as having one of the best vocals in the music industry, is reportedly worth a whopping $800 million. Indeed, Dion was reported as the 2nd most successful musician in 2009 after Madonna. Of course, while much of her money came from music — from album sales, concerts and tours — a lot of it also came from her huge investment portfolio, which includes various businesses and real estate all over the world.
