Actor, director, and producer, Denzel Washington, born in New York City on December 28, 1954. His father was a priest and divorced his mother when he’s young. After his parents’ marriage broke up, he almost became a real bad boy, playing basketball and fighting all day long. His mother had to force Washington to a boarding school to keep him away from fistfight and drugs. Clearly, moms always know better than fathers about how to save their sons’ souls.

Denzel Washington’s perhaps, to a huge degree, one of the best actors in Hollywood today or even one of the best actors in Hollywood history, is reportedly worth $220 million. Of course, the man is a veteran in Hollywood who’s had a career spanning close to four decades, so it’s totally unsurprising that he was able to amass this kind of wealth. Interestingly enough, Washington is also known to be a wordsmith of one kind or another, who suddenly churns out words of wisdom during interviews.
