ROGER FEDERER – EST. $500 MILLION

Swiss professional tennis player Roger Federer, who is currently ranked among the top tennis players in the world, is estimated to have a net worth of $500 million. Confusingly, wealth tracking sites who’ve looked into Federer can’t really agree on how much the man is worth; some have estimated it to be in the $450 million range, while some have said it’s closer to $1 billion. Indeed, Business Insider says Federer will be the first billionaire tennis player, with a net worth of $900 million and annual earnings of $200 million a year.

Whatever the case may be, what’s certain is that Federer is, to his credit, the richest tennis player, despite being only ranked the 4th best. In February 2018, he became the first male athlete to win five Laureates and the most laureates in Lawrence’s history with six wins. By the end of February 2018, he had won 20 championships and 14 runners-up in Grand Slam singles. And he was selected as Switzerland’s greatest athlete of the past 70 years.
