Singer, songwriter, record producer, actress, and author, Dolly Parton, who was able to be successful in more than a few career paths and is known to be one of the most recognizable country singers in America, is reportedly worth $600 million. Interestingly enough, she had been appearing on TV since she was 10 years old. At age 19, Parton was already on her way to be a music icon following the success of her debut album.

What many people will find exceedingly interesting about Parton, however, is that she’s made a ton of money in the amusement park business. She put up the Dollywood theme park in her home state of Tennessee, and to Parton’s credit, it ended up being one of Tennessee’s most visited tourist attractions.
Over the course of her career, Dolly has dabbled in pop music and even Hollywood films, but she has never lost sight of the country music that nurtured and shaped her.
