Jon Stewart gained international attention when he hosted The Daily Show from 1999 to 2015. His annual salary peaked at $25 million at the time, giving him a net worth of $120 million today. Apart from being a host, Stewart is also a famous comedian and an occasional actor. He even ventured behind the scenes as a writer and producer, which goes to show how his wonderful mind works.

When he returned to New York City in 1986, he tried performing in the city’s comedy club circuit. He debuted in stand-up comedy at The Bitter End, where Woody Allen also launched his career.
