Along with beginning his acting career, Richard Chamberlain also made another notable investment: co-founding a theater group called Company of Angels. Beginning his journey under the spotlight around the 1950s, one of the actor’s earliest on-screen appearances was in the episode “Road Hog” of the TV show Alfred Hitchcock Presents,.

After a couple more stints, polishing and improving his talents along the way, Chamberlain finally achieved widespread acclaim portraying the titular lead in the Dr. Kildare series. Along the way, he also showcased his knack for singing and even sang for the show’s theme song, Three Stars Will Shine Tonight. Since then, he has worked on other projects such as The Thorn Birds, Shogun, and The Bourne Identity TV movie. He remains an active member in the acting scene, with his recent works being for 2017’s Twin Peaks series and 2018’s Nightmare Cinema.
