Catherine Bell is quite well-known thanks to her extensive television career. Initially setting out to study medicine and research, she changed course and pursued acting instead. She began her career during the 1990s, with her first acting credit being in the sitcom Sugar and Spice. She then got her big break in 1995 when she was cast in the legal drama JAG. Her character Sarah MacKenzie became quite popular during the series’ run.

She then firmly established herself as a television star, thanks to her role as Cassie Nightingale in Hallmark’s The Good Witch, which saw six sequels. During this period, Bell also worked as co-executive producer on the Hallmark series, in addition to being the lead star. Today, Bell has become a beloved household name thanks to her very successful television career. Though she isn’t as active as before, the actress remains one of the most respected in the industry. Currently, she lives with her family in Los Angeles.
